Song Therapy Practical Skills Workshop Autumn 2025
A two hour ZOOM workshop for September 2025 offering practical guidance to those new to delivering wellbeing music programmes in community, social care and education.
Sunday 28th September 12 noon British Summer Time
The session will be led by highly experienced wellbeing music leaders working in recreational group singing settings in the community. Future workshops will offer specialist advice for those working with people living with dementia, older people, community mental health, SEND, songwriting and education.
The session will cover appropriate repertoire, warm up methods, human skills, ways to encourage participation through voice and percussion, online resources and many other bits and bobs of experience that can be handed down to those who are just starting out on their music leadership vocation as well as those more experienced leaders looking to broaden their own skill sets.
The session will be very relaxed, fun and enjoyable. A workshop pack will be provided.
Costs
Free for those enrolled on the Song Therapy Certificate course and £20 otherwise, early bird £10 before 14th September. PDF certificate of attendance provided.
