Emma Lancaster Emma started playing violin at the age of six with the islands Schools Music Service and added keyboard/piano at the age of eight. Despite moving to Saudi Arabia and having no teachers, and then boarding school, she continued her musical education. At the age of 20 she undertook an OU degree, focusing on music, psychology and crime & justice. Whilst folk is Emma's greatest musical love she enjoys playing classical music too, and is in numerous folk groups (five at the last count), a few classical orchestras, and a couple of choirs (singing is another love). She is a private teacher of violin, viola and piano, whilst attempting to play anything she can get her hands on, and also a Learning Support Assistant at a SEN school, hoping to do a PGCE soon. One of Emmas other loves is animals, and she has a Czech Wolfdog, a Moggy cat and a Bengal cat, resulting in rather a madhouse! BA
